Our Staff
Our staff is largely volunteer. We often have 35 or more teenagers that help keep our program running. These teenagers are selected from Springfield area high school leadership groups.
Tami Dillon
Tami is returning to Safety Town. She started her Safety Town career as a teacher for both the Springfield and Eugene programs. After stepping away to have her 4 children and work on her full time job she is excited to be back!
Tami is a 3rd grade teacher at Yolanda Elementary and has been teaching in the Springfield district for 20 years. When she's not working on Safety Town or teaching she and her family enjoy trips to Disneyland, road trips, and attending Comic conventions.
Christy Connor
Christy Connor is returning as our teacher again this year! Christy can be often found teaching at Yolanda. Christy and her family are very involved in the community. She's even added on coaching the Willamalane After-School All Stars basketball and track teams. Christy loves her family, the kids she works with and her cats!
Teresa Nohrenberg
Teresa is a member of the Springfield Kiwanis. She is a CPA and LLC. She is also our liaison and the woman behind the scenes. If something needs to be fixed, you can be sure that Teresa was the one to see that it was accomplished. This is Teresa's 35th year with the program .
